The Witcher: Blood Origin, a prequel to Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy novel series, will premiere on December 25th, according to the streamer during its Tudum event today.

Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting, Starstruck) is also in the cast, according to Netflix. Driver will narrate the series’ events and may even make an appearance in The Witcher, which will return next summer. Driver stated that her character is crucial in “connecting Blood Origin’s past with The Witcher’s future.”
