Blue Origin is finally ready to send New Shepard on its next journey to the edge of space after delaying the planned launch from May 20th due to a problem with backup systems.
The NS-21 mission is New Shepard’s twenty-first flight and its fifth with passengers aboard. It begins today at 9 a.m. ET, and you can watch it live below. The stream will begin one hour before the launch.

Katya Echazarreta, an electrical engineer and former NASA test lead, will be the first Mexican-born woman and the youngest American woman to fly into space. She is participating in the Space for Humanity-sponsored Citizen Astronaut Program.

Meanwhile, civil production engineer Victor Correa Hespanha will become the second Brazilian in space.
Other passengers include business jet pilot Hamish Harding, Insight Equity co-founder Victor Vescovo, Dream Variation Ventures co-founder Jaison Robinson, and investor Evan Dick, who participated in the NS-19 mission in December.
Blue Origin’s first crewed flight took place in July of last year, with founder Jeff Bezos, his brother Mark, and the youngest and oldest people to travel above the Kármán line on board.
