The wait is finally over. Respawn Entertainment announced on Wednesday that Apex Legends Mobile will be released on May 17th, after a year of regional betas and a delay to the game’s originally planned limited launch.

Anyone interested in checking out the battle royale can do so on Android and iOS at that point. Fans can pre-register to be notified when Apex Legends becomes available for download.
Respawn claims that by signing up for a download prompt, you will be assisting the community in unlocking special rewards.

EA first announced that Apex would be coming to mobile in 2019. The Android and iOS versions of the popular first-person shooter do not support cross-play with the PC and console versions.
