With less than a week until Elden Ring February 25th release date, publisher Bandai Namco has released a new “Overview” trailer highlighting the game’s various systems. Fans can watch nearly six minutes of edited gameplay footage in the clip.
And if you’ve been trying to avoid spoilers but still want to see what From’s latest project has in store for you, this is probably your best chance.
Notably, the trailer shows not only the game’s open-world environment, but also the many dungeons you’ll be able to explore during your adventures, including the so-called “legacy” dungeons that feature the same dense level design that has been a hallmark of FromSoftware games since Demon’s Souls.
The video also shows item crafting, player customization, and cooperative play, among other things.
Elden Ring will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The title was first announced by FromSoftware at E3 2019.
A Song of Ice and Fire author George R. R. Martin collaborated with Dark Souls and Bloodborne creator Hidetaka Miyazaki to create the game’s world. Fans will finally be able to see the fruits of that collaboration after years of anticipation.
