Lenovo next ThinkBook Plus could be more useful, at least if you’re a budding artist. Evan Blass, a well-known leaker, has shared what he claims is an image of a 17-inch ThinkBook Plus model.
In contrast to the current 13.3-inch system, you wouldn’t have to flip your machine around to use an e-paper display on the back. Instead, a pen-capable color display next to the keyboard would allow you to draw or take handwritten notes.

Other details were not revealed by Blass, but the 17-inch ThinkBook Plus would appear to have an extra-wide main display and a full keyboard as well as a large trackpad. We’d expect reasonably fast internals to help power the second display, similar to the ASUS ZenBook Duo.
It’s unclear when this extra-large ThinkBook Plus will be available. Lenovo has traditionally reserved some of its largest laptop introductions for CES in January, but that doesn’t rule out a last-minute holiday launch.
In any case, the image suggests Lenovo hasn’t given up on the Plus concept — if anything, it’s experimenting with new ideas that might appeal to creatives and others who have shied away in the past.
