While the number of persons who can transmit video from their camera or screen is limited to 30, an additional 970 people can watch and listen.
As Telegram stated when the functionality was first introduced that it intended to grow the number of individuals who can join a group chat as it expands its voice and video calls to accommodate live events.
The messaging service stated in its new announcement that it will continue to raise the limit. Telegram has also improved its video messaging feature, allowing users to watch videos in greater definition.
During 1-on-1 video chats, users can now share their screen with sound and set their messages to auto-delete after one month, rather than the previous options of one day or one week.
When users zoom in on photographs and videos, Telegram’s redesigned media editor reduces the brush-width, allowing them to create finer details. More password reset options and animated emoji are among the other new features.

Support for 0.5x, 1.5x, and 2x playback speeds, as well as new sending animations, are included in the latest version of the Android app.
Meanwhile, iOS users of the app will be able to use a new in-app camera that supports all of their device’s zoom settings, as well as forward messages to multiple recipients.
