NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling will soon reach a host of big-name games and more titles that do not depend on Windows. According to the company, Facepunch Studios’ survival hit Rust will add DLSS support on July 1st.

Of course, that’s in addition to a slew of already-revealed major titles that will receive DLSS, including Doom Eternal which will also get ray-traced reflections on June 29th and, at an unspecified point, Red Dead Redemption 2.

Fans should also expect to see DLSS in more Linux titles, as a driver update that’s coming on June 22nd will enable DLSS in Vulkan-based games using the Proton compatibility layer.

Meanwhile, if your Linux rig isn’t running Windows game quite smoothly enough, the AI-powered tech might make it more enjoyable for you.
