Netflix subscribers will soon have access to all Sony movies as the streaming service has announced that it will soon get exclusive streaming rights to all of Sony’s upcoming movies, including the next installment in the Spider-Man franchise.

The two companies have openly announced a new collaboration that will give the world’s number one streaming platform the exclusive rights to Sony’s upcoming theatrical releases from 2022 and beyond.

The newly reached agreement between both companies will make it possible for Sony movies to go exclusively to Netflix following their theatrical release. The agreement will also cover upcoming blockbusters like Morbius and Uncharted, as well as the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and “future installments of Venom and Spider-Man.”

The deal will not only give Netflix access to new releases only, The streaming giant will also have access to some older films from Sony’s catalog, but there was no words as to which titles Netflix will get a first pass at Sony’s direct-to-streaming titles.
