WarnerMedia will release Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max today, and for those who have a subscription and the right device, they’ll be able to watch it in the highest quality with 4K, HDR, either HDR 10 or Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos audio.
WarnerMedia confirmed 4K was being considered in its Wonder Woman premiere, and also it mentioned several devices that are ready to show it and that list has grown since then, adding Roku platforms and Comcast set-top boxes as well.
PlayStation or Xbox consoles users are out of luck for now, so it will be advisable to have a dedicated streaming box ready. However, Support for PlayStation, Xbox, and other platforms for Wonder Woman 1984 should be available in 2021, as WarnerMedia has only just started releasing movies and TV shows in 4K.
