Dota Underlords, Valve’s Defense of the Ancients-themed ‘auto-chess’ spinoff, has left early so you may now consider taking part in the game’s first season.

Following Valve, the update include new gameplay modes and content. Mainly, the new features links to Underlords’ ongoing story about the city of White Spire. There’s a power vacuum in the port, and it depends on players to put things back in place.

With that, players will earn new outfits and poster art. There’s also a $5 battle pass for players to buy, which will allow them to unlock over 100 rewards as they play through the game.

Players who helped Valve should test the game, they’ll find a couple of special rewards when they log in after installing the season one update.
